Since the 1930s, brother harmony has been a vital ingredient in the traditional sound of bluegrass and mountain music. The Zolla Boys carry on that tradition. Whether playing original tunes, classic duets, folk/country ballads or driving ‘grass, the heart of their performance is that distinct brother harmony.
The Boys are brothers, Ben and Sam, along with their dad, Larry Zolla (bass) and Andy Reisser (Banjo). Based out of Northwest Connecticut, they perform throughout New England and the Northeast and have been featured on award-winning festival stages—including the Grey Fox Emerging Artist Showcase and Joe Val Bluegrass Festival—and have performed live on Woodsongs Old-Time Radio Hour.
